What's new in Complex Event Processing using StreamInsight for SQL Server 2012
SQL Server 2012 includes Microsoft StreamInsight 2.0 - the next version of Microsoft's platform for complex event and stream data processing. A recent addition to StreamInsight’s capabilities is its support for checkpointing of query state which allows you to build highly available StreamInsight applications. As in previous releases, we have also made various improvements to our developer and administrator experience: the type system, the LINQ language, support for .Net 4.0, user-defined extensions, and performance counters.
